In groups of 2-3, you will create a Google Slides Presentation. Your group will be responsible for researching one color and its meaning in today’s society and in literature. Throughout your slides your must answer the following questions:
What emotional connotations are associated with the color you are researching?
What cultural connotations are associated with the color you are researching?
What does this color often symbolize in literature? Give an example.
Remember, your slides should not have too many words and should be visually appealing.

In a vlog (video blog) you are to respond to one of the questions asked. You should candidly respond in a 45 second to 1 minute and 30 second video that will be sent to me. A few tips when vlogging.
- Decide if you want to have a script in front of you or speak impromptu - Plan your video session wisely. Look at the prompts ahead of time, then film. Maybe make an outline of your talking points. - Don’t worry about being awkward - Use eye contact/connect - Use headsets or record some place quiet. Avoid background noise. - Be aware of your background. - Be aware of lighting - You can be playful! Try jump cuts, black and white, comment bubbles etc. - This is a real conversation. Put yourself into it. Feel free to ask me a question in it. - Do take this assignment as a grade. Yes, we can be playful, but I expect some thoughtful and analytical dialogue.

Is it a poor reflection on him that he tries to impress others with it? Or is it more of a reflection on those who are impressed with it? Discuss and support with the text. - Does the fact that this narration comes from Nick change your opinion of the events? Since this whole narration and story is coming from his perspective, do you think that he is a biased narrator? Use the text to support your answer. - Was there any point in the reading that you had to go back and re read because you had a ‘What just happened?!’ moment? When? Why?
